AI Series Day 12 | 12 Days of AI. How Female Founders Use AI to Build 90-Day Plans They Actually Execute (So You Stop Abandoning Goals by February)
It's almost January. Everyone's setting goals, making promises, saying, this is my year, and by February, most of those goals are forgotten. Here's how to use AI to build a Q1 plan. You'll actually execute, not just dream about.
Hey, hey, hey. Welcome to She's That founder, the show that helps ambitious women stop drowning in decisions and start owning their CEO seat with a little AI magic. I'm Dawn Andrews, and this is day 12 of the 12 days of ai, a female founders holiday business intervention series.
Today's topic, your Q1 game plan. A 90 day AI powered sprint planner that connects your big goal to what you're doing week by week. I mean, you guys, I'm so excited to do this one myself.
Here's what I see happening, and I see it in my own life. Founders spend hours in December planning Q1, but they're planning at the wrong altitude. They're either too tactical, like post three times a week on LinkedIn, or too vague, like grow revenue by 25%. Neither connects to how you actually spend your days.
And here's what's happening with most Q1 planning. You set that big goal, then you hope magically you'll end up there by working really hard. We are not doing that.
So here's your steps. Ready?
Step one, pick one Big Q1 goal, not five, not seven. One. Connect it to revenue. and Then ask yourself if I accomplish. This by March 31st. Would Q1 feel like a massive win? So examples might be adding 50 K in new revenue from new clients, hiring and onboarding an operations manager, launching and filling my new group program.
And these are specific, but make it even more specific if you can.
Step two, run the Q1 planning prompt, and here's the prompt.
“I'm planning Q1 2026. January through March. My main goal is, and then share your specific goal, Share your current situation in as much detail as you can. Share, what's working, what's bringing in leads, for instance. Share what's blocking you.
Help me break this into three monthly milestones. Identify three to five key weekly activities. Build a realistic January action plan. Flag what to stop or to delegate, and create simple weekly check-ins. See how specific that is. That's what AI needs to give you something it can actually use. once you've answered all of that, hit enter.
Here's an example of it filled out for you. I'm planning Q1 2025. January to march. My main goal is 50 K in revenue from new clients. My current situation, I'm at 15 K in monthly revenue working with eight clients. What's working? My referral system brings in two to three leads monthly. What's blocking me?
I'm personally handling all client onboarding and it's eating 15 hours a week. Help me break this into three monthly milestones. Identify three to five key weekly activities. Build a realistic January action plan and flag what to stop or delegate. Then create simple weekly check-ins, that gives you an idea of how to put that all together.”
Once you've got the prompt in with your answers, hit enter.
Step three, read your 90 day breakdown. AI will typically give you that Q1 goal, the January, February, March milestones, three to five weekly activities, things to stop or to delegate, and simple weekly metrics to track.
This connects dreaming to doing, but quick warning here. Don't make your milestones too aggressive. If your Q1 goal is 50 K in new revenue, your January milestone isn't 50 K. It's complete 20 discovery calls with ideal clients. Break the goal into activities that you control, not outcomes you hope for. And if you still need more detail, like what do I need to be doing to get 20 discovery calls with ideal clients? You can follow up with that question.
Step four, put January into your calendar. This is where most plans die. Take those three to five weekly activities. Open your calendar right away and put client outreach calls into your calendar.
Tuesday from nine to 11:00 AM Great. Block it out. Where will review ops manager applications happen? Friday afternoons. Cool. Block it out. Your Q1 goal isn't real until it displaces something else on your calendar. Yes. This means that you're saying no to something else, and that is the point.
Step five review during your weekly CEO reset. So every week ask, am I on track for this month's milestone? What's working? What needs to adjust? This is how we all avoid the I set goals in January and forgot about them trap.
Why this works? Most goals fail because they live in a Google Doc you made on January 2nd and never opened again.
This connects to your March 31st finish line to your Tuesday morning in January. that's the only way goals survive. Contact with real business and real life. quick recap. Choose one big Q1 goal. Use AI to break it into monthly milestones and weekly actions.
Put the work that you're doing in your actual calendar and then review and adjust during your weekly CEO reset. your day 12 action. This week, run that Q1 planning prompt and build your January action plan. Even if you're listening in March, you can still pick a 90 day window and run it like it doesn't have to be January.
And now my friend, if you have been listening over the last 12 days. You now have 12 AI workflows to make your CEO life and leadership so much easier.
You should also have your AI tool picked your starter prompt, saved better answers with context. You have a way to triage your email and prepare for meetings. You have a way to train your AI to talk into your voice and to organize your chaos. You have a template library and an SOP generator, and you have a decision framework, a weekly CEO reset, and a Q1 game plan.
Holy moly, that's an AI system you can actually use as a founder. So before it goes away. I want you to go and grab the complete 12 days of AI Quick Wins toolkit.
That's all 12 prompts, all the templates, and you'll find it at hello dawn live slash day 13 for just $7. Now this is where this gets real. You have 12 workflows. Day 13 is where we actually install them in your business together live. We're gonna wire three or four of these into your real business.
We're gonna tune your prompts and your voice live. We're gonna do hot seats with listeners, and from that group I'll draw the winner for the 90 minute AI strategy intensive You can register for free at hellodawn.live/day13. If you're listening later that same link still has the replay and current ways to work with me, whew.
I can't believe that we started 12 days ago with you, potentially overwhelmed by AI hype and ending your days exhausted. If nothing else changed except you use three of these 12 workflows, you have the potential to reclaim five to seven hours a week. That is not incremental, that is transformational, and that is CEO level time back in your week.
You don't need to hustle harder next year. You need better systems, better support, and better questions. And now you have all three. Thank you so much. I am so grateful for your time and for your ears. Thanks for spending these 12 days with me.
I'm Dawn Andrews and this is, she's that founder and you've truly, truly got this happy holidays.
